News: The Brewers purchased the contract of 3B Mat Gamel from Triple-A Nashville, recalled RHP Mark DiFelice, RHP Tim Dillard, 3B Joe Dillon, OF Tony K. Gwynn, 1B Brad Nelson, C Vinny Rottino and LHP Mitch Stetter from Triple-A Nashville on Monday. Also, they purchased the contract of C Angel Salome from Double-A Huntsville and recalled SS Alcides Escobar from Huntsville. To make room on the roster, they transferred LHP Chris Capuano from the 15-day to the 60-day DL and designated RHP Richie Gardner for assignment.
