News: The Rangers purchased the contract of RHP Willie Eyre, RHP John Bannister, SS Jose Vallejo and RHP Omar Poveda, adding them to the 40-man roster and protecting them from the Rule-5 draft.
Analysis: Eyre is coming off Tommy John surgery and will a have shot at a roster spot. These others are likely to spend the entire 2009 season in the minors leagues. Ignore them on Draft Day
