The long battle between the Mets and Braves ended with a scary play in the second game of a doubleheader Tuesday. While turning a double play at second base, Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar struck Mets OF Ryan Church in the head with his right knee. Church was face down on the field for several minutes before staggering off. He was later taken to the hospital with a minor concussion. Escobar was helped off the field and had a large wrap on his knee in the clubhouse. He shooed away reporters, only saying, 'No DL.' The Braves weren't sure if Escobar would be able to play Wednesday. 'It's sore,' manager Bobby Cox said.
