News: The Flyers won 3-0 Friday against the Sabres despite playing without former Sabres co-captain Daniel Briere. He missed his fourth consecutive game because of a groin injury. Briere is expected to miss a fifth game Saturday against Phoenix, but might return to the lineup Monday against Dallas.
Analysis: Briere has been patient with not rushing the groin injury and making sure he is close to 100 percent before returning to action. He has had an injury-plagued season to date, but has been productive when healthy. He is still a bit of an injury-risk start Week 8 (Nov. 24-30) unless you hear otherwise
