News: David Clarkson and Travis Zajac scored 10 seconds apart past Joey MacDonald late in the first period in the Devils' 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Friday. 'It's always tough when you give up a couple of quick ones,' MacDonald said. 'They made two great tips. They dropped the puck and they came right down again and got another one.' MacDonald made 28 saves as he allowed two power-play scores and one short-handed tally. The loss ended a three-game winning streak.
Analysis: MacDonald allowed all of six goals in his previous four games, so it's not like he has been awful in net since replacing Rick DiPietro (knee). In fact, he has won five times in November and came into Friday's game with a solid 2.08 GAA this month. MacDonald remains more of a No. 3 Fantasy goalie while he fills in for DiPietro. The Islanders TG is also a low-end Fantasy option
