Chris Newcomer threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Rangers game against the Red Sox on Friday at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Newcomer, a Fort Worth-area resident and local softball player, is recovering from brain cancer and was representing the Rangers as part of their efforts in Major League Baseball's part in the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.
